Our client, a global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of an Laboratory Specialist to join their dynamic team.

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension
Pay: Up to $22/hr
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the inventory of freezer biomaterial contents for the Labware LIMS SRIM module.
- Set up and maintain master data for frozen biomaterials in Labware LIMS.
- Support the implementation and testing phases of Labware LIMS software.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate data entry and system configuration.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the LIMS implementation process.
Education:
- Minimum: High School Diploma required
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
- 1-5 years of relevant experience with LIMS, master data setup, and sample management.
- Experience with Labware LIMS and master data setup is preferred.
Skills Required:
- Basic laboratory experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Basic mathematical skills (e.g., adding and subtracting).
- Ability to work with cold materials and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work in cold temperatures and freezers, ranging from -20°C to 70°C.
- Ability to work with liquid nitrogen (additional PPE will be provided).
